Social Media Content Creator Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Content Creator. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the business strategy into social media content and matianing our Social media presence.

As a Social Media Content Creator, you will:

• Conceptualize, script in Somali and English, shoot and edit engaging short-form content for TikTock, Reels and Shorts.
• Comfortable being on camera in-office and in public to film variety of content.
• Identify content that appeals to our consumers and followers creative and translate them into inspirational original content.
• Work with the CEO of company to ensure that brand message is shown clearly and with scale to new and existing clients.
• Maintain the IT infrastructure and systems, and implement, assess the metrics of our social media platforms.
• Maintain Google Analytics and all other analytic programs attached to our social media.
• Other duties to be performed as required.

As Social Media Content Creator you have:

• A bachelor’s degree in a Business and IT -related program
• 1+ years of experience in content creation, CPG and or growth/start up experience a plus.
• Knowledge of software programs, and IT infrastructure
• Experience in brand content development on all social media.
• Have a social presence and proven experience in growing either your personal or brand’s page.
• Consistently ideate, create, and curate content with a strong point of view and deep brand knowledge, using innovative approaches to structure and presentation to drive distinctiveness in branding.
• Situational awareness, a strong sense of urgency and a focus on delivering great results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Somali and English
